The Mayport Waterfront Partnership in conjunction with the Mayport Civic Assoc. has embarked on a paver project honoring the deceased original residents resting in the "Old Spanish Cemetery" in Mayport Village established on May 1, 1562 .

A monument has been erect at the end of Broad Street facing the Mayport Lighthouse. Beautiful shrubbery and meditation area are in place, and it is our hope to install memorial pavers to enhance the monument and stability to the walking and parking area.

All donations are tax deductible. The current numbers of requested pavers are being engraved and will soon be installed.

HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE YOU & LOVED ONES IMMORTALIZED IN STONE BY PURCHASING A BRICK PAVER!

The Mayport Waterfront Partnership has erected a historical marker commemorating the Old Spanish Cemetery thought to have been first established during the 16th century.  The marker is located on Broad Street in the quaint fishing village of Mayport, Florida, and stands in front of the old St. Johns Lighthouse.

The Partnership is offering the opportunity to be immortalized as a pioneer in our community by purchasing a paving brick with their, or a loved one's name, or message.  The bricks will become part of the landscaping around the historical marker.

A specific time frame for actual installation of the bricks cannot be determined, therefore, we cannot guarantee the installation date. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for your contribution to the Old Spanish Cemetery Brick Paver Program.

Please complete this form and return with your check made payable to "Mayport Waterfront Inc.", the "For" space should say "Old Spanish Cemetery Bricks".  C/O: Carroll Huffines, 1409 Pearl St., Atlantic Beach/Mayport Village, FL 32233-2435.
